Announcing UnMasc 2: Our Second Annual Storytelling Event

The Village PATH & Undo Bias Consulting Presents: UnMasc 2

Proceeds go to help provide free mental health services and spaces for Black Self-Identified Men.

During Violence Prevention Month, The Village PATH and Undo Bias will be co-hosting the production of UnMasc 2 (A Mens Storytelling Event) on October 13th, 2022. This event will take place at Il Monastero, located at Il Monastero Banquet Centre, 3050 Olive St, St. Louis, MO 63103, on the campus of Saint Louis University.

The production will include about ten self-identified Men from varying backgrounds who will come together to share bold personal stories about how masculinity has affected them.

The event's goal is to raise $20,000 to help The Village PATH continue to provide programs like The Village ROPE (Rites of Passage Enrichment) program and The Village TAP (Therapy Access Program), where Black Self-Identified Men can receive five free therapy sessions. The Village TAP was organized to address the mental health needs of Black Self-Identified Men. A big part of it is providing this population with free of charge psychotherapy sessions. Over the last two years, The Village TAP has paid for over 100 free therapy sessions.

In addition to ticket sales and outright donations, event participants can donate (any amount). There will be musical guests and art as well. Get vulnerable with us at UnMasc 2!
